Sustainable Heroes

Our initial charitable projects provide direct support for military special operations war fighters to enter a functional medicine program with complementary magnetic e-resonance therapy ("MeRT") to help with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD).

Therapy for this beneficiary population helps entire families and communities by helping veterans who are struggling with TBI and PTSD symptoms.

MeRT was initially FDA cleared as a treatment-resistant depression therapy. Today, it is helping people in many ways.

No two brains are exactly alike; one brain’s electrical activity, brain waves, and thought patterns are unlike any other brain. What makes the MeRT process unique is that the treatment protocol is customized for each patient.

This cutting-edge treatment protocol uses the combined technologies of:

The results of the qEEG and EKG tell us what is functioning normally in a brain and show us any areas of dysregulation. Patients can then receive gentle magnetic waves to reprogram the dysfunctional electrical signals in the brain. Through TMS, a health care provider stimulates the exact area of a brain where communication is poor and increase activity in that area. This can help the brain learn pathways that have never been used or abandoned, or blocked by trauma.

MeRT is non-surgical, non-invasive, painless, and completely drug-free. Patients are comfortable throughout the procedure. In most cases, we can visibly reshape brainwave activity, regardless of what may have caused the disruption.

This is a video of a former U.S. Navy flight surgeon, and former CTO at Boeing, explains MeRT (45 min).
